Well today I ventured across the water for a few hours to see friends and I despite the hoards of people and it being so hot I managed to get a few pictures of the giant marionettes. The grandma was still in situ outside St George's Hall in a wheelchair and after a morning of walking through Newsham Park, the little girl was having a rest outside the mouth of the Queensway tunnel. Also lying asleep next to her was her dog Xolo!
There is still plenty of time to get into the city to see more of the story, I'll once again put links to the routes at the bottom of this post. I recommend getting into the city by train because it would be a nightmare to drive into at the moment and Merseyrail are adding extra carriages to their trains over the weekend to deal with it.
